This summer has been very rewarding
for the entire youth group. The youth group had a fulfilling experience on our trip to Enid, OK as we traveled by charter
bus together. We had several first time leaders and youth who were able to make the mission trip this year and they came
away with a unique experience. Many of our youth who have been on several mission trips already expressed some of their true
feelings for the first time regarding their relationship with God and how they feel about serving others on this mission trip
and in their daily lives. Our devotions, discussions, and time alone with God during the mission trip gave us all the opportunity
to grow closer and helped us grow closer in our walk with God. Every year we get the opportunity to help out those who are
less fortunate. All the youth are thankful for the support of Christ Church Covington in making this trip happen through
the various fund raisers, activities, and participation. There are 18 youth and 4 adults attending the mission trip this
